STROKE AND HEART ATTACK PREVENTION
Reducing the risk of heart attack and stroke is important for everyone. General medical practice therefore takes a population-based approach to reduce the population’s overall risk.
We are all different and some of us have genetic factors which increase our risk of heart attack and stroke to be much greater than that of the general population. First, we take a deep dive into your risk factors and determine if your specific risks are on a genetic level. Next, we create a personalized plan to decrease your risk.
Your personalized prevention program is based on genetics, lab testing, vitamin and mineral levels, microbiome, current fitness, hormone levels, and environmental risk factors. This assessment will be used to develop a specific plan that combines nutrition, exercise, prescription medications (when indicated), supplements, and lifestyle interventions.
We have coaches, nutritionists, trainers, and physicians to help you along the way.
