Dr. Carl Seger has been in medical practice for 15 years, but has been fascinated by physical and mental health his entire life. He currently lives in a farmhouse on 5 acres in Ashland, Oregon with his wife, who is an OB/GYN, 3 children, and 2 dogs. Carl went to medical school at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, WA. He then completed his residency and fellowship at the University of Utah in emergency medicine and education, respectively. Currently, he practices as a board-certified emergency physician in southern Oregon.
Carl is interested in education for precision medicine and using technology to improve people’s health span. He is passionate about personal improvement and helping patients achieve their optimal quality of life. His long-term interests, outside of work and getting his kids into the outdoors, are backcountry skiing/snowboarding, surfing, trail running, and gardening.
