Brittany became interested in health and wellness while she was in graduate school studying psychology. Prompted by a desire to improve her own health, she began reading and learning everything she could. After seeing incredible changes firsthand in her own health, she decided to shift her studies to health education and behavior. She holds a Master’s degree in Experimental Psychology with a focus on cognitive neuroscience and a Master of Public Health in Health Promotion, Education, and Behavior. Brittany has experience in psychological research, clinical research, health programming, professional writing and editing, project management, and business management. She is Fellowship Director for Wild Health and also runs a nonprofit business for medical education in another sector.
Brittany is passionate about mindfulness, organization, wellness, and the incredible emerging field of genomics-based personalized medicine. She lives in Bend, Oregon with her husband and two kids. She enjoys mindfulness-based exercise, yoga, running, adventuring outdoors with her family, and watching live music.
